Synopsis for "Days of Future Past"

In the 21st Century, New York City has become a nightmarish environment run by mutant-discriminatory Sentinels. Kate Pryde escapes from a group of mutant-hating thugs with Wolverine's help. During their rendezvous, Wolverine informs her of a full-scale nuclear strike on North America. Kate then enters the South Bronx Mutant Internment Center, after passing a humiliating security examination. She walks through the cemetery of fallen heroes until she reaches the Anti-Sentinel Resistance. Later, Franklin implements the “Jammer” that will disrupt the inhibitor collars, that neutralize the X-Men's powers. Rachel then transports Kate’s mind into the body of her younger self. In October of 1980, after finishing a training session in the Danger Room, Kitty Pryde mysteriously collapses to the floor. When she awakens, the adult Kate Pryde (now in her younger body) warns the X-Men of Senator Robert Kelly's assassination, which leads to her dystopic world. Forward to 2013, Magneto and Franklin are killed by the Sentinels, and the last remaining X-Men plan a final assault on the Sentinel’s Base (Baxter Building). In the present day Pentagon, Raven Darkholme (Mystique) works out of the office of the Assistant Security of Defense for Research and Development. She leads the New Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, to which Blob has a minor objection to. At the Capitol Building, the US Senate addresses the growing issue of homo superior (mutants). As Senator Kelly prosecutes them, Professor Xavier and Dr. Moira MacTaggert realize that the X-Men have just entered the room. The Professor mind-scans both Storm and Kitty he is shocked to see their future. Suddenly, Mystique and the Brotherhood arrive to end Senator Kelly’s life. The X-Men reveal themselves and Mystique orders the others to kill them.
