Telepresence Armor

History
Operated via the telepresence system when Stark's nerve damage was too severe to allow him to normally act as Iron Man. With no need for space to accommodate a wearer, the armor had more room for weapons and power source.
One version self-destructed to prevent Technovore from reaching Earth. The second model was destroyed by Ultimo. A prototype NTU was used by Stark to battle VOR/TEX.

Capabilities
The telepresence neural net transmits mental commands from a headset via sub-space. This system gives the wearer realistic feeling without lag time, but also makes them vulnerable to feedback. If connection with the controller is lost, the armor automatically disengages and flies home.
The remote armor is considerably heavier and consumes more energy than standard armor; its power systems are improved (an order of magnitude according to Stark himself) to compensate.
The armor possessed a large variety of weapons in its shell. It maintained the traditional repulsor, uni-beam and pulse bolts. Additional repulsor mounts were present in the epaulets. The arms contained a flamethrower, mini-missiles, cutting lasers, coherent beam weapon, PULSOR beams, taser, acid pellets, and tear gas nodules, as well as wrist-mounted cannons. A backpack could deploy shoulder-mounted weapons such as a Gatling gun. The prototype could generate intense light from its visor and also possessed sonic "screamers."
Anti-intrusion and self-destruct systems were enhanced due to its nature.
The armor could cloak itself and launch tactical decoy units.
For utility it could use a grappling line, computer interface probes and flame retardant foam.
It could also be configured for space travel.
