The history of Meggan on Earth-9997 mirrors that of her Earth-616 counterpart. In recent history, possibly due to her exposure to the Terrigen Mists, Meggan has taken on a less human appearance. She was a member of the last team of Excalibur, which would all be turned to stone during a battle against the Grey Gargoyle. In a fit of rage, King Britain would murder the Grey Gargoyle, and learning too late that in doing so he trapped his friends in their stone prison. Britain would bring Grey Gargoyles from other universes to try and free his friends, but to no success. Eventually Mephisto (posing as Captain UK and Grey Gargoyle) would free Meggan and the others shortly after King Britain and Medusa of the Inhumans have married, causing a rift between the newly wedded couple and to throw the validity of their marriage in question. Before Britain could make a decision on what to do, Meggan would pose as the King when Mephisto would storm Buckingham Palace with an army of Deviants to claim the Sword of Might. During the fight, Meggan would sacrifice her life stopping Mephisto from succeeding in securing the sword. Related Articles:

In the alternate Earth-1189 reality, New York was destroyed by Dr. Doom. His antimatter bomb killed the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, creating a crater of hundred kilometers. In Great Britain, Meggan decided to become the new Captain Britain after her husband and original Captain Britain, Brian Braddock, died. When Meggan met Excalibur during the Cross-Time Caper event, her Earth-616 counterpart offered her to accompany them.
