History

The Bird People were a genetically stable off-shoot of the Inhumans, who separated from their Kree-created parent race in Attilan and built their floating home, Sky-Island. They possess superior technology and are generally a peaceful race.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Flight: The Bird-People possess the superhuman ability to fly by means of natural wings, which span 16 feet sixteen feet from wingtip to wingtip, and are fully feathered like a bird's.

Aerial Adaptation: The entire anatomy of the Bird-People is naturally adapted to flying. Their bones are hollow like a birds, making them weigh far less than usual for a human. Their bodies are virtually devoid of fat and possess greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. Their eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. They also possess a special membrane in their respiratory system enabling them to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.
